Self Catering Accommodation with ADSL / WIFI Internet Access / Connection

The Gite has a permenant Internet Connection using broadband ADSL, you will need a Laptop with an installed network / WIFI card and some minor configuration changes to access the Internet from the Gite.
We understand that with today's increasing requirements to 'stay in touch' internet access through ADSL / WIFI is becoming more and more of a requirement so guests are free to use this service at no additional cost. We do not supply a computer with the accommodation so please bring your laptop with you, the connection cable is in the gite, all your laptop requires is a network card with a RJ45 (standard) connection or if required we have a WIFI access point for use in the Gite.

It is fairly simple to connect your laptop to the house network, a few minor configuration changes, that is assuming that your laptop is using Win 98 / Win 2000 or Win XP. If you have a MAC laptop then you will need to be aware of how to network your machine. Sorry we know very little about MACs!

Note: Very occasionally the ADSL connection is reset by the provider and can be down for some time, this is beyond our control and we cannot accept responsibility for lack of / dropped internet connections.
